Discussion I wonder what the "woke" argument is for why misogyny is more of a problem than misandry

Can anyone else make that make sense?

I mean, maybe if there was a study showing that misogyny is way more common and misandry is incredibly rare... then maybe there'd be an argument based on that.

But it's strange to me how these people who are so worried about negative comments about women don't seem to care about the negative ones about men.

misandry and misogyny dont really exist, its just people being frustrated that they cant attract the men/women they want. In the case of foids misandry may be more applicable since they consider 80%+ of the male population non human.

To be honest... it seems to be the case that the left are more likely to dislike men and the right are more likely to dislike women.

So it's probably just built on that.

That's basically it. For feminists misandry is just a response to the evils of the "patriarchy" and therefore is OK.

It's a quantity and quality thing.

Misogyny is more common globally and it's really good at discriminating.

Misandry is less common globally and it's bad at directly effecting men. It relies on movements that allow for it to push through.

In short misandrist are behind on the sexism industry while misogynistic are ahead.

It's an interesting theory but women can be pretty nasty too. I've heard stories of them abusing their sons and stuff. We'd need to see stats really.

Even if it's true though I don't know if the solution is to basically indoctrinate young boys into a feminist ideology.

Often, men are naturally "toxic" and women naturally like "toxic" men.
