They have already banned some erotic games in the past like Rapelay so everything is possible. But Hentais are already in a massive decline, not that many of them are getting released and it's now mostly doujin animations made by a single dude with hired VA foid to dub the lines and moans.

They can ban mainstream "hentai" but they won't be able to ban indie works since they can't be tracked and can release them at any time anywhere. And what about erotic games, there are thousands of them on Dlsite and what about erotic ASMRs?

Eroges are pretty much on a death support, so many of those companies been shut down in recent years and only ones with good revenue could survive, after Millennials that were making them going to die it will disappear completely and be replaced by garbage boring all age trash (or even worse Yaoi/Yuri) released on Switch or endless ai made shit or even worse remasters and remakes that will break sex scenes or straight up remove them.
