Discussion I wonder how Elliot Rodger felt about the way the Day of Retribution went

If ER was born some years later he might even be a poster on this forum, though I think he would get banned if he ever told of some of his experiences such as grade 8 where he became popular and girls hugged him.
Elliot would have lasted 1 post before getting banned here. His posts read like an obvious troll. If you just read those posts without context, it's impossible to believe he was real.

Sorry but that's a stupid take.
No, I stand by it.

Elliot had the choice to go to school anywhere he wanted. He chose Santa Barbara because he wanted to be King Chad fucking the hottest blonde Stacy, and nothing else would do. He demanded life on the hardest mode.

While his family was less rich as Elliot went through puberty, they were still well off. More than most here, for sure. And as we've seen with Georgia and Jazz, nepotistic opportunities would have been there.

If he was honest with himself, he would have to concede that he failed in his stated goals for the "day of retribution" just like he failed at everything else in his shitty life despite his giga privileged, mommy-funded, 1% upbringing. Couldn't even tough out 3 years for a fucking art degree ffs.

He failed to break into the sorority house and "punish" Chad and Stacey for laughing at him. Most of his victims were his ricecel roommates. That's hardly the "retribution" that he wrote and wrote and wrote about.

It's a pity because ER wrote well for someone who was completely un-taught. On a superficial level MTW is disjointed and un-polished and rambling. But he keeps it moving and he really pulls you into his world and the way the experiences he described made him feel. If only he could have found a way to channel that faculty for introspection and that raw honesty into something positive that might have brought him some real respect in the world. A lot of writing and music out there is about personal anguish and struggle. I could imagine him with a guitar singing the kind of unaccompanied weepy song about unrequited love or failed love that gets inordinate airtime on easy-listening radio and was in the CD cubby of every boomer woman's Honda Accord. (Ref: Hey there Delilah by Plain White Ts, Living next door to Alice by Smokie, You're Beautiful by James Blunt, Bones by The Killers)

Yeah, well he was autistic, anti social and not very bright. Those aren't really things to blame him for.

nigga some normgroid issues are also our issues
my life is hell anyway, if i became homeless it would maybe be 5x worse? but if normies became homeless their lives would be 50x worse, so it's worth it
