I have been NEET for more than ten years. I can tell I was genuinely happy at times, but it didn't last. You long for more eventually.

Besides, the entertainment industry is infested by identity politics and social justice. It totally ruined my NEET retreat and I'm pretty sure that's actually what drove me to the blackpill.
