i used to watch anime as a kid

well as a young teen

there was this anime called eureka seven there was a scene where a girl got hurt or something and the main character comforted her. it was a few seconds long, i used to go under my blankets and watch that scene over and over and over every day. it made me feel very tingly, emotional, idk i don't remember exactly how it felt. i didn't understand why it made me feel that way. brutal as fuck now that i think about it. people my age were experiencing love meanwhile i was in my bed under my blankets watching an anime scene that made me feel shit i didn't even understand.

I think playing video games and watching anime as a teen is a strong early sign that it never began
