I went to Taco Bell late last night to get food and used a chip for the first time instead of swiping my card. Suffice to say I didn't know how to do it and the guy had to tell me to flip it over like 4 times and laughed at me. I got embarrassed, laughed, and my face turned red.

Holy fuck it's over. This is how much of a socially stunted loser I am and I swear I'm not autistic.

Even though the US is the last to implement it (and even then a lot of places still use swipe...) I'm surprised this is the first time unless you literally never eat out or grocery shop. But I had a similar situation at Taco Bell too. Avoided fast food due to corona-chan, but downloaded a few apps to try paying that way. In the drive thru the foid had my box on a "dine in" tray and I grabbed it instead of the box.
