The average normalfag just runs on feels and vibes, they don’t actually know anything. Politics is just a form of idle talk and entertainment for them.

A lot of people complain about isues and problems but don’t really know how to solve them. All they can do is make noise or cause chaos. Or rally behind some prophetic figure who’ll cure all ills

That's why I gave up voting. Twice. The first time when I realized my vote NEVER made a difference. But in more recent times I decided to give it another try. Once I saw that the traditional private voting booth was replaced by a sheet of paper (like an SAT test) and anybody could see how I voted, that's when I knew it was a total sham. The whole country is in the pockets of the uberwealthy...and who knows whose pockets the uberwealthy are in? Yeah, I know, it sounds like a conspiracy theory that there are a cabal of the rich who want to take over the whole world. But is it really so far-fetched?
Human history is full of the names of people who rose to power...and then wanted to use that power to subjugate the entire planet. You gotta be insane to even want to do that. But I do believe that there will always insane individuals who want to be remembered throughout history as being the first to be able to accomplish that. Like it's akin to planting a flag on top of a mountain, or some such.

But using armies to do that has never worked. It creates resentment, which leads to overthrows. That's why the rich are trying a new tack, conquering the world politically and economically. It's insidious, like the old story about how you cook a frog. You turn up the heat slowly, and no one will notice. Modern would-be tyrants also have modern tech on their side.

I hate what this bodes for human civilization. Fortunately, I don't have many years left. I may witness the start, but I won't be living under it for too long.
