I unironically believe it. I would say that it's simply coincidental, but I'm certain that there are people in this world who have 'psychic, fortune-telling' abilities. The only reason I'm so sure of that is because my father is one of those people. The man will get the most random premonitions and they'll all somehow end up being correct. In my childhood, I recall him saying to my mother that I'd grow up and convert to Christianity. Mind you, there is literally zero reason why he would suspect such a thing. I was roughly nine or so, and when I heard it, even I thought it was some nonsense.
Lo' and behold, nearly a decade later—I end up converting to Christianity (in secret).
That's one of the most notable instances of his fortune-telling abilities, but it's just one of many. He has predicted and figured out things that relate to me dozens of times, and all of them end up being correct. Luckily, I think there's SOME kind of limit to it, because he's never figured out about any of the more questionable things I partake in. I'm very thankful for that, because otherwise I might end up getting locked up in a mental institute.
They all also just appear to be random, as far as I'm aware. I don't think he's able to consciously predict the future, nor does he have any way to actually know if any of his 'hunches' end up being correct or not. He might have ended up predicting my conversion, but he doesn't actually know about it—and I'm actually pretty sure he forgot he even made said prediction all those years ago.
This is all to say, I actually think it's possible that you have something going on with you. There's definitely things in this world that we write off as purely fictional or a product of people in the past being ignorant—but actually truly do exist in some fashion.
