I don't think I will survive autumn this year

I live in the UK where the days in the summer are long as FUCK, and it's been light well past 9pm and into 10pm since mid may and it feels like it's always been this way rn, I know it hasn't but during peak winter and peak summer, I can't imagine the daylight being any different during each respective season, this happens every year

And I'm fucking adoring the days being this long rn, it's like heaven, I can take a walk after dinner at 9pm and it's sunny and bright, so it's going to really fuck with my head in a massive way once it starts getting completely dark before 8pm once again, it's making me sick and sad even just typing it out, I genuinely don't think I'm ready for it this year, the dark depresses me so fucking much, and it happens so fast too, one week it's dark before 8pm then a few weeks later it's dark before 6pm so there's a huge shocking sense of whiplash from it being light at 10pm to it being dark before 6pm and then at peak winter it's dark before 4pm

I think it's a huge part of the reason living in the UK is so unbearable, all I know is there is just no way I can handle another winter, last winter literally almost fucking killed me, I can't go through another

In the Nordic countries there is literally zero sun/zero darkness for months on end or atleast in the northern parts
