Discussion I start my first job tommorrow

Tommorrow, Thursday December 1.
Istart my first job, the job is more community like focus you get to go to place, and do workshop meet some people, you get paid for learning survival skills. Etc
They said I would earn 500 every 2 weeks.
I’m wondering if this is wageslaving?
Yesterday I went to the work meeting there was drumming and food, surprisingly not many people showed up I would say like 26 showed up, possibly
So I’m looking for advice anything I need to know as a trucel working a job that involves meeting new people, and going to places? There is also another work meeting which is at Monday.
I work 3-7 Monday to Thursday and possibly Friday( near future)
And on Sunday I was told I could work as a plumber I could earn a lot money that’s what a old hapa woman told me yesterday at the work meeting.
