I remember I took a class at another university (kind of like exchange program) when I was still in IRL college. Right before the exam....

the colleges were very close in terms of distance. This was almost 6 years ago.

...the class was waiting to be let into the auditorium to take the test. A student looked at me and told another student, "pf that's the ugliest person I've ever seen", quite loudly, the prof and other students also heard).

I got an ok grade but without that incident, I think my grade would have been better. I knew everything I was prepared, slept well... but then what happened made me feel sad, angry and self-conscious.

And now I just remembered that a prof at my "home" college made fun of me to other students. The students seemed embarrassed I think.

(i am not studying online/remote for over 4 years. Lonely but the best option for me)

I might do online college. But idk maybe in person.

I think the only real advantage of doing it in person is the college "experience" (this depends on who you are, obviously). If you want friends there, a gf.
It was obvious even before I went there I couldn't get a gf.

The advantages of online degree is more freedom -- and for me (this might not be an advantage for all) I don't have to travel there everyday or live there. I don't have to be around so many people.
