I have returned from my two-day break, and I thought that I may as well return by making a post about something that I've been wanting to talk about for a while now...
Recently, one had decided that he wanted to start watching more anime considering that even though I've been labeling myself a 'weeb' for many years now, one has never actually watched more than a few popular shows. So, I decided to start torrenting different shows to watch. I'm pretty slow when it comes to binging stuff, though, so I've only gotten through maybe four or five anime so far. I only just finished No Game No Life roughly two days ago.
Since I, however, had no particular ideas on what to watch after that, I just randomly picked something off of Nyaa—and I ended up choosing 'Mars Red.' I started it yesterday, and, truthfully, I have zero clue what is going on. It's some kind of vampire anime, and while I thought the plot was simple enough at first, I couldn't keep up with it after reaching episode six. They keep showing off what I'm fairly certain are meant to be plot-twists, but I can't help but just be confused when they're shown.
After that, I realized that I was clearly just missing something, and so I went to search up summaries for the episodes on the fanwiki—which I didn't WANT to do, but I unfortunately wasn't left with much of a choice.
And yet, I was left to discover that this anime has nobody writing down the summaries for it. Imagine my shock when I visited the wiki to only find summaries for episode ONE AND TWO, and the rest left ENTIRELY BLANK?

Now I'm left with no choice but to waste the next two hours or so rewatching the past six episodes just so I can understand the plot... I made this entire post because I rarely see people talk about how impactful the IQpill is. For whatever reason, there's some people here who genuinely believe that being low-IQ is somehow pleasant because they think that having a low IQ means that you can't understand your situation. I, for a time, too believed that considering people said it all the time—or, at the very least, eluded to it. That's why I never figured out that I was low-IQ until I actually got it tested.
In reality, you're fully aware of your situation. You can't, however, actually do anything about it. I'm going to always struggle with stuff like grasping plotlines, because I'm inherently trash at making connections between things and that's how it's always going to be. It's something endemic to my existence. If you're low-IQ, your life is significantly more miserable and even stuff like coping is more difficult for you than it is other people. How solemn...
