First off, a nonce is UK slang for a pedophile.
A pedophile is an adult who's sexually attracted to children.
So naturally, being a pedophile is massively illegal and condemned in the west, where children after protected.
If get falsely accused of being one, word will get around and people will think I am one, even when I'm not.
Ergo, my name and reputation will be ruined, people will not trust me, avoid me and hate me, and if I'm really unlucky, vigilantes might come after me, looking to do me physical harm, all over a lie.

This morning at 9, I was sitting outside this shop, and waiting for it to open. While I was doing so, this scruffy looking 40 something looking chavy Manlet with his whore walked by and he started falsely accusing me of being a nonce. I Swore at him and told I wasn't, but he kept insisting...
I was walking out this alley today when this asshole saw me and recognised me and started called me a nonce again, which I'm not.

I told this police officer I know about this via email, and how this guy is on CCTV.
