I went to that one bridge today with the intention to jump off or eventually gain the courage and do it one day.

I saw how scary and dark the water beneath the bridge was and immediately got a flight or fight response.

I couldn't even bring myself to make a simple move. My instincts to "survive" came out on top and defeated me once again.

I got chills down my spine telling me not to do it.

I am a coward. I will never amount to anything , yet I keep on living. It's ridiculous.

Dying in my sleep would be the best. No pain, fear whatsoever.

Agreed, I think a lot of us would gladly accept death rn, if it was painless and didn't require any effort or thought. Just randomly, in the blink of an eye, you immediately die.
