Or even feeling of playing games in general as a kid. I remember playing that village section of re4 over and over again as a kid and the moment i saw chainsaw guy i was legitimately terrified. Little did i know that was just a trailer for what was about to come when i played hd re release in my teens. I never finished the game as a kid i think i reached castle. and got stuck at that castle catapault section

That magic when you are child, everything invoking 10x times more emotions, is gone. I could play the most boring games back then and still be so engaged while playing them. Now i can't do it. Most games seem boring to me. Also not having access to all the games and just having to play the same old games on your potato pc might honestly play a part in why i could play those boring game back then.
