Any of you had scam emails similar to this? I get ones trying to trick me into logging onto fake versions of sites I'm on but nothing like this. Only part that really scared me is that it was forwarded from my own email but it had a different pic. I had someone log into my email at the beginning of the year also.

They got my password wrong btw but it was very close. I think they gather them from old sites that have been hacked. 99% sure this is just a scam like the rest but JFL if a video pops up on my facebook of me fapping to Riley Reid on webcam in two days.

Seriously, though. If they got your password wrong reinstall windows and maybe get new HDDs/SSDs. Change all your shit to some complicated long (16+ char) passwords with numbers, random letters, upercase etc. and write them all down on several pieces of paper for now. Don't use keepass yet.

I think they're full of shit and they have nothing. Tell them that you'll pay only if they provide evidence. A close password and a hacked gmail account is not evidence.
If they don't provide anything or threaten you, do all the shit above and ignore them. Even if they provide evidence, they'll probably blackmail you further.

I changed my passwords & I actually saw a forum user post an email that was nearly the same so its just automated spam.

only bad part is that the password they stated was only wrong by a few characters. I checked a site & apparently I had some of my information leaked from a last fm hack a few years ago so hackers use this stolen info to get your password. A shame. It would have been pretty funny to see a vid of me lying on my bed beating off to Elsa Jean getting it from BBC

This is why you should get some black electrical tape and cover any webcam on any laptop you have. If you're incel you have no reason for a webcam anyway so just keep it covered to be safe.

I disable my laptop's webcam and microphone in the BIOS. I don't like the look of tape, and I also don't want the NSA to hear me, so I think it's a more elegant solution.

Well, most BIOS are closed source, so you can never know whether or not there is a backdoor. You can be reasonably sure that the webcam and microphone are inaccessible, though. For the most security you could just physically remove the webcam and microphone.
