last night my brain somehow made up a story about how my dad’s first dog got killed by a predator or something more mysterious in the early 1970s when he was a kid (I got really old parents for my age) and he recorded the audio of his own dog screaming in pain and dying. my brain produced this audio and I somehow heard it and it woke me up shitless and scared.
