When I was a kid, in the 1960's, / 1970's, I knew a few Adolphs. They were all from The Greatest Generation and very elderly (at that time). I'm sure they're all gone by now. Probably didn't even make it to The Year 2000.
A couple of them were even Jewish. My second grade teacher was named Adolph, and that was back in 1969. He looked in his early 70's, so that would make him born in the 1800's. He would've been only a few years younger than The Real Adolph. My father's father was born in 1884, making him OLDER than Hitler.
