Any other brocels out there suffering from debilitating social phobia can possibly relate to this, but I had to attend my Stacy-esque cousins wedding this evening with my outgoing, gregarious and obnoxiously charismatic Chad brother so naturally, I showed up wearing all black looking like an aspiring gunman and sat next to some lower tiered Becky whom I struggled to have a normal conversation with while Chad-bro made loud jokes about how drunk he was about to get and fraternized with some random Stacy's.
The ceremony was an outdoor civil union to be followed by an indoor reception at some decadent, bourgeois country club, but as soon as they had concluded the vows and as everyone else was walking towards the reception area, I subtly and discreetly walked behind a row of trees and escaped to my vehicle (my brother drove separately, per my insistence though we departed from the same house). I know most of my family will unjustly presume that my early departure was violative of normative social conventions but they do not understand that by merely showing up I was already subjecting myself to an excruciatingly painful and stressful experience. Fuck normies and their social propriety. It is such unreasonable expectations that motivate acts of mass violence.
