I imagine myself as a soldier everyday. I know it's a cope and there are real soldiers or vets here who could put me to shame, but I'm all stating imagination and for this, I imagine myself usually to be a soldier of armies that no longer exist.

When I take the bus, I would imagine I'm riding a APC as a soldier of a motor rifle regiment. pretending to hole a rifle in my hand between my legs with my phone.

When it's time to leave the bus, when the side door opens and you have to dismount quickly, it's like soldiers leaving a huey helicopter with doors wide open or Soviet soldiers quitting from their BTRs.

I know. I only imagine the "glory" part of it. It's just a fantasy; I will never serve in the military, and if they forcefully conscript I'll resist to the maximum

There is nothing worse than being a soldier, especially in Russia/Ukraine. Every day I see cases of inhumane treatment of soldiers who are used as slaves by the state. If I was Russian I would join the army in an instant. Most people today will never fight because there is always something they won't agree with. They will always find some flaw with either side and decide not to join if they have the freedom to do so. Imo it's not the responsibility of the citizen to decide that. If we would build Inceldia and try to build an army, all of a sudden every single one of us would come up with some excuse why they won't fight. You can never fully satisfy every single person.

You say that you would join the Russian army, but you don’t even know in whose interests this war is being waged. You just don't have all the information.
For starters, it would be nice for you to know who was behind the bombings of residential buildings in Moscow and Volgodonsk in 1999 (it was the Russian special services). They needed a reason to start a second war with Chechnya and they staged terrorist attacks throughout the country to imitate Chechen terrorism.
There is also an interesting interview with Russian general Lev Rokhlin (who was later killed), in which he says that Russian soldiers in Chechnya fought for the interests of the mafia (the president, the special services and their oligarch friends).
