I haven't made a new memory in years

I'm 23 and every day my mind dwells on the same handful of memories I have from middle school and high school. Over and over again my mind replays the same memories and I reflect on them the same way over and over.
I haven't made a new memory in like 5 years. I try to go out and make friends but my autism has gotten so bad I can't even make guy friends let alone girl friends.

Wow, painful.

Sorry this is a struggle.

Keep in mind that high school sort of burned various archetypal memories into your brain. It's not fair to compare to now.

Also, autism or not, we gotta be around other people. Even if it's just a part time social job, or a cycling club.

Worst thing possible is cutting yourself off from people.
