A lot of people forget that they’re the Sole Arbitrator of a reaction. You’re the sole arbitrator of deciding that person would be fitting for you to spend time around. You’re the sole arbitrator of living together. And because of your decisions, that parter YOU decided to be around ends up battering you.

It isn’t a life necessity to date or be in an active relationship or marriage in present day, YOU decided to chase those desires. And that desire you chased decided to beat you up.

The only domestic abuse I feel sympathized for is when a child is caught up in the midst of it. Childless couples, none.

Accountability would do people well.
