Whenever you hear normies or people on IT using that phrase,its pretty clear that they have either self diagnosed or they just know nothing about autism.they do not take into account that autism is a spectrum reaching from slight social impairment all the way to the sub 70IQ non verbal autist.This one dimensional anecdotal statment also completly ignores the studys proving that its signficantly harder for autistic men to find romantic sucess compared to NT males, meaning that it focuses on statistical outliers (as usual when talking with normies) and is therefore largely influenced by survivorship bias. And for most incels autism isnt the only reason why they are incels.In the majority of cases it comes down to a combination of traits,such as autism,physical apperance(face,height,frame),severe bullying etc..But even if hypothetically every autist had the same sympthoms, whether you become an incel or not largely depends on your sorroundings.While some people(mostly women) get support by people around them, others get bullied(mostly happens if youre sub5 on top of having autism) or deemed as useless by their parents resulting in low self esteem and a natural distrust in people.
