RageFuel I hate how my parents keep forcing me to do college

They had it all too easy. They keep lecturing me on how ill be a bum without college but they never even went to college. They dont know how it is like to sit through hours of mind dumbing lectures, typing pointless essays and solving meaningless problems. My dad did what any other boomer did. Worked a low skill job that at the time could support a whole family while my mom sat on her ass getting pampered. They dont realise that ill probably never even own an apartment on a doctors salary in new york. They just keep living in the past.


Its not just forcing college down my throat, they also force me to become a doctor or accountant. Wanting me to do something i have no passion in just so that they can use me as a retirement plan and to show off to other parents how smart i am. Fuck them they aint gettin shit outta me. Didnt even let me consider a trade school cause they think being a doctor is easy. Theyve sucked out any sort of drive from me and turned me into a soulless husk. Worsened by the fact that i have no friends or gf. I literally have nothing to work for

You need a money generator like selling on eBay. Then you can do other things. I do the stock market. Real estate is much easier, but too expensive. Plus I hoard and get free handouts when time allows.

the job market in their time is one to envy. many of that generation dont understand straight out of high school could land you a reasonable job to sustain yourself and a family as sole breadwinner and save a little if you were somewhat frugal and buy a used car after a few years and after a few more pay down on a house. now combined income of two people with college degrees working and no kids may not even enable much more than two used cars and a small savings while paying for an aparmtent
