Wish we were like conquistadors

basically in spain/portugal the men who did not fit in well, or were incel or were simply bored with life got to fuck off on sail boats across the Atlantic. sure they did fucked up shit by giving the indians smallpox however the conquistadores discovered new plants, medicine, art, literature, foods, and animals.

I wish we had another "new world" we could fuck off to and go exploring in instead of being destined to wageslave and hear about our coworkers talk about what they ate, their dogs, or craft beer.
