Serious I got nagged for 10 hours at a warehouse job

So I recently started a warehouse job. The trainer thought I did not understand how to pick packages because I was not being verbal, so he paired me with this woman(also new hire) that would not stop talking.

The entire shift she nagged me on how to correctly pack the packages in the trailers. She was also really slow while packing packages. I like to work fast.

I’ll never do it again. One of the reasons I got a warehouse job was because I thought I did not have to talk to anyone. I’ll ask management if I can work alone from now on. Anyone else experience this

I’m definitely going to look into security if this continues. I’m in good shape so the physical aspect of a warehouse job doesn’t bother me it’s mainly the social interactions

I worked in a warehouse for a short period of time and compared to security. Warehouse is worse but less boring. As security nobody even tries to tell you what to do unless you are working with other security guards.

All of my education and work experience has been utterly ruined, directly or indirectly, by other people (usually social stuff, but even simple things like scheduling and communicating they have failed at often). Of course I'm incompetent and ready to break down at a moments notice, as well.

Brutal, I’ve only ever worked part time and I hate it enough as it is. Think I’d rather die than ever work full time especially if it’s some retail/ warehouse shit.

Depending on where you have to qork as a security guard it can be very bad and also dangerous.

Try data center security if there is one near you. Easy job

I’m a very tolerant person but I’ve gotten to the point where I’d rather clock out and go home than work with her again. That’s what I’ll do if they say I have to next time I go to work

Have you checked out what the minimum pay for a security guard in your are should earn?

I live in Germany and for my profession I should be starting with 18,50€ / hour.

Guess what, a potential employer is asking me what I expect to earn at their company.

I will tell them exactly that.

If they refuse, well they can always make me an offer.
At least they are like 5 km from my home, so I could get there even by bike, so it's something.

You should look at what the minimum and median wage for your job is in your area and then work normally instead of just acting like you have not seen the thief and then demand to be paid something between minimum and median wage, imo.

They won't fire you for asking.

Just come up with good arguments.
