I got a Rhinoplasty on January 9th. However, due to thick skin, my nose was only reduced by a little bit. When should I start taking accutane?

My nose was only slimmed a little bit due to thick skin. Not good, I want a white nose, not an ethnic nose.

I know I'm only 3 months out and its still swollen, and the size of the nose will go down as swelling subsides, but I also wanna start taking Accutane to speed up the process.

How soon can I start accutane after a Nosejob?

Holy shit thickskincel. Brother how did it go. I have the same problem. Finally someone other than me talks about this curse

And also you should have done accutane for 6-3 months before the surgery and should have undergone a couple of co2 laser procedures. At the very least. Didn’t they warn you ?

And also you will never achieve good results with thick skin. The best you can hope for is something like this:

Otherwise if they apply excessively massive cartilage grafts to the tip after removing excess soft tissues you might get a overprojected tip. Ideally they should also address bad nostril length/tip extension because having huge nosetip and small nostrils is subhuman, makes your nose noticeably fat. They should primarily address the Supra Alar Crease area by removing excess soft tissues down there, to create a more chiseled appearance from the side and negate "monolithic" look from the front. Try to squint or strain your nose and you will see what I am talking about. Basically this version of your nose will be the best possible result you can achieve

@wereq @AtrociousCitizen this is what we nosecels have to go through. Also @Lonelyus

 We are cursed with thick skin. What motherfuckers here don’t understand is our skin is holding us back. Just wait until they finally implement gene modification into plastic surgery and all of us thickskincels are going to make it bruh!

Even after I do accutane? Accutane thins skin

Brother it doesn’t do shit long term in terms of thinning the skin. In my case I was on accutane for 6 months 40mg a day, acne came back, spacious glands expanded back to their previous size, pores got larger as they were before starting the course, etc. although it will definitely help with swelling so hop on 20mg a day asap. I should say my nose was a bit smaller on accutane, but I repeat, it was not a permanent change. What did they do to your nose if you don’t mind? Did you have SMAS/excision of soft tissues aka subcutaneous fat layer ?

Interesting. Good to see that you are doing something about your appearance and care about your looks. That said, I don't think that anyone here will be able to help you.

Try a plastic surgery forum, talk to your doctor or use Chat gpt?
