My paternal family is like this, but my maternal family is more high class if that makes sense. My paternal family is obsessed with carnal pleasure, my maternal family is more religious. My advice for you is to try and talk to older family members, they might be more understanding, or at the very least more "normal" (in our eyes).

You should ask him if he ever is berated over being ND or single. I've been berated for being a virgin at 18 multiple times and this sort of behavior started when I was very young too.

Nah not single tho i guess he has been berated over being ND . Mostly he is scolded for making any slight mistake in his day to day life or his grades

18 nearly same age as me in college , his education has nearly ended anyway he just needs to get a job later .
