I feel uncomfortable with people

People look at us as if we were aliens, people from another planet... but I wonder if we really are

I am a guy who usually hides my hobbies but not because they are eccentric, or too weird, no, no

but because they are very unusual for a guy of my age.

I feel that people are not prepared to hear things about me, not people my age, not people in the country I live in.

They don't usually respect me and this ends up leading me to an inevitable loneliness.

Being polite, reserved, quiet, or intelligent is seen as a bad virtue and automatically makes you an easy target for ridicule and bad jokes.
