The Shinano/Taiho carriers, essentially, were basically desperate efforts by the Imperial Japanese Navy to produce an 'elite' class of carriers that has top-of-the-class features...Indeed, they did, they did everything right, having bulletproof deck, hull armor, new radar, new guns, even new safety procedures for fire safety.

Only, it got torpedoed from US submarines, and a few torpedoes were enough to remove all that effort.

How did it relate to me? Well, I feel like I am the embodient of these two carriers. I did everything right, had a good job, tried to NTmaxx, joined activities, took jewpills, got into sprinting....All I got was the same. Same one sided responses, same foids wasnt interested, same shitty mood daily.

I just got ghosted by a foid who was nice to me, and I feel like so defeated. Writing autistically with military metaphors is my way to cope, and it makes me feel better

Aircraft carriers are overrated. At least since the invention of hypersonic missiles. These are basically just billion dollar floating clay pigeons. Tanks are also an outdated weapon system since drones and intelligent mines have existed.

Shinano and Taiho were completely different animals

Shinano was a makeshift carrier built on top of a half-built Yamato class hull. It was never good and could not really fight properly. The barbettes for the turrets were still in the lower hull, preventing the installation of big enough hangars.

Taiho, by contrast, was a new design and quite capable, but what good is one carrier when the enemy has a near unlimited supply of Essexes and Hellcats and Corsairs?
