Brutal I dreamed a very schizophrenic dream

I dreamed that I was running from a monster

Vaulting and also crawling in very tight holes/spaces similar to Outlast to escape this very scary monster but the more I was running , the faster the monster gets.

I get some distance but the monster catches up from behind.

Once the monster is close enough and tries to grab me I wake up and my entire heart is pounding so much to the point I felt like dying.

God damn I hate dreaming it sucks so much when your life is shit.

It reminds me of my dreams from my childhood. Usually I would see the monster coming and it would come slowly, and I would try to run as fast as I could but I would always be so fucking slow it would always catch me (and then I would wake up). I would never scream or be scared after waking up, but I would just feel frustrated.

I rarely have nightmares for nowadays but back then (when I was 6–8), it was the norm.
