My sisters boyfriend had me play Elden Ring co-op with him. It was pretty dogshit because every time one of us died, we'd have to spend 2 or 3 minutes to collect some gay ass feather so he can spawn in again. Plus dealing with people raiding sucked too.

A proper co-op mode would be nice, similar to Remnant.

Invasions are just part of the game, they've been a thing since demons souls. The invader is always at a disadvantage in every game and in the case of Elden Ring, their disadvantage is being outnumbered.

Tbh this is just to make the game less easy for you, you're already at an advantage when you've got multiple people fighting a boss designed for 1 person.

Yeah some people are shitty, they get dropped late game weapons by their friends on their low level characters, either that or they beat the game at a low level which actually takes some skill.

You can only get invaded during co op unless you activate this finger that lures in invaders when you're solo. It's meant to punish people that are making the game easier by playing co op. In the souls games you used to get invaded when you were solo.

I forgot, you can actually craft those feathers and there's unlimited crafting material at the Four Belfries grace. They respawn every time you rest at the grace. You'd be able to craft about 10 feathers in like 2 mins.
