This is exactly what I do, I know the end of the game is coming and they make it very challenging so I just give up and say what's the point? This game will be done and I'll have nothing to do, I don't care to replay games and the best part of any game is the gameplay obviously so that's when I am having the most fun is when I'm in the thick of an immersive RPG. I still haven't beat Xenogears and FFVIII along with many others cuz I lose interest towards the end.
