I cleaned my wizard lair completely, and now I'm overcome with some strong emotions. It's hard to describe. It's a mix of nostalgia combined with the anxiety of thinking I'm going to move into a different place or a different city, even though I'm not. I see imagery in my mind's eye of lush green trees under an evening sky, the sun sinking into the hills, with rain clouds rolling in off in the distance. Even though I barely go outside and see such things. I also feel a great heaviness has been lifted off my shoulders, that I have unblocked whatever it was that was stopping myself from making it to the next chapter of my life.

I need to clean my bedroom. It's been in a pigsty for the past couple months, and everytime I try to clean it I just give up and decide to wait for another day. What got you to clean your apartment out?

jorsan peterson was right :lul:

proud of you brocel, just finished writing an 900 word essay and the feeling of completion is so cash

Upgrading the internet connection wiring, so needed to have a technician come inside. It took me a full month to clean my place, I must have carried out 30 bags of garbage when no one was looking and the coast was clear. It was a NEET nest disaster.

I don't want to ever allow it to get that bad again, it was terrible for my mental health, even though I thought it had no affect.

he really was

congrats :feelsokman:

I haven't cleaned my apartment in eight months, there are empty alcohol bottles near my bed currently as I'm making a collection, I have flakes of shedded skin on my bedroom carpet, cigarette butts in my kitchen sink, and five months of pulled out hair in my bathroom sink. There are still wine stains on my carpet in the living room from a year ago.

I had this, sans cigarette butts, but also a mountains of garbage and bottles in my living room, kitchen and bedroom.

It really is. And you never realize it until you go on and clean the mess because it happens slowly.

Good job boyo :feelsXmas::feelsokman::feelscomfy:

I keep telling myself I'll clean a month from now, but it never happens. :dafuckfeels:

I spent the last 24 hours mostly just sitting, laying and sleeping on the couch in my living room. Just staring at the wall, pondering and meditating within my clean apartment, fully content. I needed nothing else. For a time, I had reached satori.

Life can be that simple and that happy. I kinda envy you. I cant find peace in my place anymore. Cant even sleep properly, i just feel anxious and uncomfortable all the time even though it is clean. Anyway, i am happy for you dude.

Nigga these are finite spaces. Women did this shit everyday. If you live alone you really shouldn’t have much to clean.

Good job. I wish i had the energy and money to turn my place into decent living place.

My mum occasionally comes in and takes shit out for me, if I lived alone I'd probably be like one of them hoarders from ITV.
