I cant fucking win in fighting games

In fps games im good in moba games im great in rts games im average.

But in fighting games i get fucking trashed on everytime.

I cant fucking learn this no matter how many yt videos i watched.

In mkx i got rolled in mk1 now i can barely win one game and its usually a cheesy start like using jax kameo.


In dbfz jfl i think i have like 0-100 losses.

How the fuck do i learn properly

All yt videos are the same they dont explain the fundamentals and how to think.

u won't need that shit to thrive in the mid ranks. don't ever get good enough to hit the higher ranks I can tell u from experience it ain't fun. high elo players only play meta and every game is the same sweat fest.

you can look up combo tutorials and practice those, but im not sure how many of them feature pc controls, i wouldnt play ranked until you got those down since ranked in mk1 is literally broken

Fighting game YouTube videos are horrible. Everything I learned about them I learned through theory crafting and practice.

These games are reaction time and hand eye coordination based. There's no pre firing and other mechanics to compensate for this too; maybe this area isn't of your expertise?
