Modern woke society is so loud and bossy and naggy and... Microsoft are far from the only ones doing this!

And even when I'm at home on my non-Windows PC I can still hear it outside. Lots of emergency sirens (even though this area used to be very quiet and peaceful), lots of low flying airliners (some climate change -related thing), and probably more drama and crime too.
