I've tried for the past 4 years to grow a slight beard to hide my acne scarring but after a week it would just look like a neckbeard.

Today, finally, it crept up high enough to cover almost all my visible acne scarring. I still have to decide if it will look like shit or not if I keep it trimmed to a certain level, I've never gotten this far.

Just use minox and it'll patch it up nicely. I would recommend it against the reaper aswell

Nah it's actually more effective for beards since body hair is more resistant to balding and grows indefinitely. You'd be wiser to save it for your hair but you can absolutely use it for your beard

I would look into chemical peels or laser therapy for the acne scars. It is actually possible to get rid of them, but it takes time. I have not done it personally myself as I was lucky enough to have high collagen and not get them, but I researched it some.

When it comes to your hair, you need to watch that shit like a damn hawk. Take pics of the same areas, in the same place with the same lighting, in the same position, every month. Then when you notice thinning you immediately hop on minoxidil and finasteride. It's all about prevention because when the DHT hits and miniaturizes the hair follices to a certain extent, it's over for your hair and the Norwood Reaper wins (unless you go to Turkey and get a hair transplant).
