Honestly I went and it was very fun. They were a bunch of kids and I enjoyed their company we didn't really talk but it was fun I quickly spoke about what I am up to and changed topics. I enjoyed it.

Please don't avoid talking to your family I did that with my Grandparents because all of our conversations were repetitive (and also because I was depressed and was doing well in all aspects of my life) on video call but then he passed away in Covid and I regret not talking to him about his interests and stories . I did when he came over from Syria once but still I wish we had more time.
