You get a prescription from your doctor, then just pick it up from your local pharmacy (my cost is 30$ a month, but sometimes insurance will pay for it).

OR

You get it without a prescription from India. I had to do this for years because my endocrinologist refused to prescribe it to me.

Go ahead and read up on the possible side-effects, but me personally, I've never experienced any.
