Don't get me wrong I don't especially like that there's a lesbian kiss in it but it amounts to about 2 seconds out of a movie of almost 2 hours.

It's strange to me that people are attacking it so much. On IMDb it has a 5.1 which is lower than any other Pixar, Disney or Dreamworks movie. Surely it can't be THAT bad!

My theory is that it's just too different. From what I've seen it seems much closer to a space adventure than a kid's movie.

I reckon most people will perceive it as too nerdy and too kind of dark and real-looking. People don't typically like that stuff at least not in an animated movie. It's normie repellant, lol

But for me as someone who likes space adventures and things with a bit of colour and life... I dunno. Seems my style.

I'll probably see it on home release though. I'll get the VHS!

But yeah, just wondered what you guys thought and if you don't like it if you like any similar films like animated stuff or sci-fi ^^
