Can't get to sleep, gonna watch Sunshine (2007)

None of you guys like sci fi? lol...

anyways I asked ai a question regarding this movie,

"would a ship like icarus in the movie sunshine be possible in real life?"

A spaceship like the Icarus is not realistically possible. While real probes like NASA's Parker Solar Probe fly near the sun, the extreme temperatures and the physics of the payload make the mission a work of pure fiction.

The Heat and Radiation
The sun’s corona reaches millions of degrees, and the thermal radiation at the distances Icarus travels would easily vaporize known materials. Spacecraft like the Parker probe survive by using a carbon-composite heat shield and relying on high-speed flybys to quickly cool down. A manned, city-sized ship carrying enough fissile material to "restart" the sun would melt.

The Mission Objective
The core premise—dropping a nuclear bomb to restart a dying star—is scientifically impossible. The sun operates on gravitational collapse and nuclear fusion at such a colossal scale that a human-made nuclear explosion would be like striking a single match inside a raging inferno.
