It’s just that I hate the disc format. It’s cheap and easily scratched/damaged. And I hate switching out discs in the middle of RPGS and long games.

Yes, I am well aware incredible games came out on the PS1 and other disc based consoles, but I am just over them at this point with all the bad experiences I’ve had.

I’ll just stick to Nintendo cartridge/chip games.

cartigde are literally bottnecking the nintendo switch games thats they literally get compressed,optimize cost money and game company are best proof of that is the zelda tears of the kingdom

Meanwhile my SNES and cartridges are still going strong. Even the 30 year old save batteries still work. There is something to be said about cartridge supremacy.
