from the moment that self-preservation is the true focus of human beings, everything that may cause harm is underestimated and little known, through self-censorship. it is practically impossible to develop a real practical cosmic knowledge following this mode. Apart from that, we have the issue that the totality of knowledge is something endless and therefore impossible to achieve in its fullness by human beings. the least we can do is focus our abilities on the things that keep us alive, which is partly developed with technology. apart from that, nothing that modern man creates or preserves is really relevant. the "knowledge" developed over countless generations is simply useless and therefore non-existent.

If human knowledge is irrelevant because it's all eventually going to disappear, pretty much everything right now that exists is irrelevant; which is true in the long-term, but there are different forms of relevancy, and it certainly doesn't mean that knowledge doesn't "exist". :feelsjuice:
