Serious How would you explain your lack of friends/social media/social life if you got a gf?

I’m serious. If you could actually ascend with a gf, how would you explain your low status?

I just moved back here from China. Social media is restricted there and I was pretty busy anyway.

I wouldn't explain the lack of social media. I see not having social media as a good thing, it's addicting, time consuming and utterly useless.
I don't think it's possible to have a GF without a social life, even if you go on a couple dates, it's over once she finds out. There can be no GF with a social life, and there can be no social life without friends, so those are non factors.

The answer to that will be very different depending on the person. We're obviously not very good at making friends but if you want to discuss that you should be more specific and tell us about your experiences. Perhaps you'll have a light bulb moment.
