There are only two solutions from what I have learned so far:

1) Return society to a religious monogamy, then genetics won't matter that much
2) Practice eugenics on a massive scale by - for example - requiring an government approval to have kids. This means NO KIDS for families with one of the parents below 5'8, with below 5.5/10 face, not wealthy enought to support healthy diet for their kid when he will be growing up, "more female than male kids policy" (for example, if you want to have 3 kids, at least 2 of them must be female, and if you want 2 kids then at least 1 must be female) etc.

Eugenics for BOTH men AND women. Natural selection is flawed because it is very one sided. An obese 4'10ft girl with a deformed head can easily get impregnated meanwhile a sub7 man is destined to be a genetic dead end.
