How tf are you supposed to beat Tekken 1 and 2 ?

I know Tekken games are by default difficult even on easy mode, but at least i stood somewhat of a chance in Tekken 3 and 4 with some effort. I recently tried Tekken 1 and 2 and holy shit, at later stages the AI demolishes the shit out of you and blocks nearly every hit, making it near impossible to stand a chance. Are these games exclusively for hardcore gamer chinks who do nothing but play difficult games all day ?

Yes, Tekken has always been hard and it's for people willing to dedicate time into learning all the characters and everything. It's designed that you have to earn your turn unlike most other fighters.

Idk but i had trouble beating tekken 5 when i was a kid i would get to the last guy and he was very hard i don't even think i ever beat him but can't remember.

Its brutal, im genetically terrible at most videogames, i guess i will never be able to beat these games then
