I don’t think social media is absolutely necessary in your youth to have a social circle, but, not having social media after highschool and college will leave you plently isolated after your friends from school start to settle down and drift away from you. I made a FB profile in 2007 and posted one and only one picture ever and I never use it. Fuck social media. I realize in this fucked up, willingly-taking-1984-up-the-ass world that this stance can actually hurt you though. But fuck it. Having things online linked to your real identity is just asking to be fucked with. Social media will always be used against you especially if you're ugly. It should be illegal (not that these laws are ever enforced) for employers to reject you simply because you can't be found on social media and thus it seems....suspicious.

I despise how in the past decade the world has totally forget and thrown under the bus the notion of PRIVACY. What's more is the pathetic attempt to portray yourself to an online community who doesn't actually give a fuck further than clicking a stupid like button. Social media is painful to even look at. When I did I saw people on there say the dumbest shit whom I knew in real life but was forced to dislike after I saw the neural diarrhea they were seriously spewing or advocating for (religious nuts, conspiracies, antivaxers, etc.)

Another aspect - and people I feel zero sympathy for - are morons who do illegal shit all the way up to murder with firearms then go post some dipshit gangbanger post flashing a gun and wonder how police found and confirmed him. After the last presidential elections, i did a social media "detox", i basically deactivated my Facebook feed, now i only use it for the Messenger feature, and i also don't have an IG or Snapchat. Every fucking time i'm chatting with some stranger and they ask me "Hey, what's your IG?" and i tell them i don't have one, the person looks at me like i'm some sort of weirdo serial killer, EVERY. FUCKING. TIME.

Normies love their social medias, it's a little stage where they can self-promote, express socially acceptable opinions, virtue signal and pretend to have an awesome life 24/7, and foids can have their massive egos stroked and inflated even more by simps and other foids, but that shit makes a shit ton of harm, even for the average NT person.
