Shit I'm not sure. I remember thinking that way around 10 or 11. It was so obvious how certain boys got treated, both by the girls and even by the adults. They were intrinsically valuable in ways I never could be.
But I still had hope, when I was so young. That hope, I think, was deluded. I don't know if it was what carried be to life now, or if it was a curse by some demon, inflating me just enough so that I might serve.
