I remember when I was in high school it was some girls I liked and was attracted to but my social skills were horrible and I’m not attractive. It was so frustrating I couldn’t get with any of them and they all ignored me or rejected me. Just in high school itself? Probably around 20. It was enough that by my senior year, some people were starting to take notice that I got rejected by a bunch of girls, because I remember one guy brought it up.

Thankfully high school for me was many many years ago, before smartphones and social media were really a thing. If I were a zoomer and I asked out even that many girls chances are someone would have recorded at least one of those instances and put it on tik tok, completely killing my reputation. And all the comments would be full of guys calling me chopped with skull emojis and falling rose emojis.
