My mom is good. We sometimes get into arguments but we get along. My ‘dad’ on the other hand is a cunt who would always scream at me and spank me for doing literally anything wrong rather than talking to me about it. He fucked me up a lot growing up. As for my extended family, they don’t live nearby so I don’t get to see them.

I barely even know what's happening with most of my family and thats from my mom side. They ok most of the time though thats probably cause I barely talk to them. Dad's side of the family I don't even know barely any of their names and all I know that is that they are a genetic disaster. A bunch of mental illness and stuff.

Same here, they helped me a lot through college financially, but I do not remember a single happy moment in my childhood with my parents. Mostly fear, disappointment, and when they ask me what's wrong, I wish I had the balls as a kid to say, "You are the reason."
